Larkin names Dybka new coach

Larkin High School has hired Marcin Dybka to be the Royals' new varsity girls volleyball coach.

Dybka replaces Gail Johnson, who resigned recently after four seasons.

"We are excited to have hired (Dybka) for this position," said Larkin athletic director John Young in an e-mailed statement. "He brings a high level of experience having coached club volleyball and (he) played for the national team in Poland. He also had a successful season this year coaching our girls JV team."

Larkin was 2-29 this past season.
