Many things from Obama not true
Many have been questioning if they can believe what President Barack Obama says anymore.
For example: 1. He promised he would close Guantanamo Bay detention camp by Jan. 22. Not true.
2. He promised there would not be a single lobbyist in his administration. Not true. There are now more than 30. 3. He promised that if his stimulus package was passed the unemployment rate would not exceed 8 percent. Not true. It is now hovering around 10 percent. 4. He stated there were 2 million jobs created or saved since the stimulus package. Not true. His own Web site states 650,000. Besides, who knows how many were "saved?" Remember when they released the original figures on job creation; they were mostly made up, showing jobs created in ZIP codes that didn't exist, and more jobs created in some ZIP codes than there were people.
5. He told us at least seven times that C SPAN would be at all the health care hearings and sessions. NOT TRUE. Most of it was held behind closed doors where secret deals were made. 6. He said he would end the war in Iraq in 2009. Not true. 7. He said his administration would be the most transparent ever. And we sure know that one is not true. 8. He said he would "end out of control spending" veto earmarks, end bickering in Washington, be the most bipartisan ever, and on and on. Deception is the norm in this administration, and based on recent election results, and polls, the American public has had enough.
