Wouldn't it be nice if ...

How does health care reform affect those who don't care about health care reform? Well, when someone uninsured gets sick and has to have treatment, the emergency room must help them.

So, hospitals will pass costs of treatment to insurance companies. Then, insurance companies pass these costs to their insured by raising monthly premiums, deductibles, and co-payments. Wouldn't it be nice if you, your children, or your parents had good quality health care coverage - regardless of how much money you/they have?

It would nice if when my kids get too old to remain on my health insurance plan, that they could easily go get their own, regardless of how much money they don't have. It would be nice if I could keep my health care plan, even if I loose my job. It would nice if I could change jobs and not have to worry about losing (or reducing) my health care coverage. Please keep writing and pushing Washington politicians to get this task done. How many of them will we have to vote out of office before, collectively, they start working for us again?
