WCC to host documentary screening, panel discussion
Waubonsee Community College's Community Education department will screen the documentary "Unlocking the Mystery of Life" at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18, in the auditorium of the Sugar Grove Campus, Route 47 at Waubonsee Drive.
The film, which features contemporary scientists making a case for intelligent design, will be followed by a panel discussion.
Panelists will include Dr. Paul A. Nelson, an adjunct professor in the Master of Arts Program in Science and Religion at Biola University, and Dr. Andrew J. Petto, member of the board of directors of the National Center for Science Education and a senior lecturer in anatomy and physiology at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.
The event is free, but reservations are requested.
