Buffalo Grovebull; Thieves removed the truck bed toolbox from a company vehicle overnight Feb. 9 at O'Reilly Auto Parts, 1325 W. Dundee Road. The toolbox is valued at $180. Occurred 3:15 p.m. on 2/9 900 Block of Parker Lane Residents returned home to findbull;Thieves broke out a window next to the front door in a residence on the 900 block of Parker Lane the afternoon of Feb. 9 ransacked the master bedroom, taking jewelry and cash.Des Plainesbull; Thieves stole a wallet out of a man's jacket in the Metra depot, 1501 E. Miner St., around 4:30 p.m. Feb. 9. The victim left his jacket on a bench while at the ticket window. Value was estimated at $71.bull; Vandals used a black marker to write graffiti on two walls inside the public parking garage, 1444 E. Prairie Avenue, Feb. 10 or 11. Damage was estimated at $100.bull; Thieves stole two brass fire sprinkler heads valued at $2,000 a business at 105 E. Oakton St. around 3:43 a.m. Feb. 7. A security tape showed a sedan pulling up to the site.Mount Prospectbull; Rebekah A. Dickens, 24, of the 100 block of Golfview, Carpentersville, was arrested around 3:30 p.m. Feb. 1 at the Bensenville police department and charged with theft. Reports said she stole $100 and a credit card Nov. 26 from a woman she knew on the 100 block of South I-Oka and used the card to charge purchases valued at $238. Her court date is March 18.bull; Burglars broke door locks and handles on a 2004 Chevrolet Express van between 10 p.m. Jan. 30 and 8:30 a.m. Jan. 31 in a residential lot on the 900 block of Wheeling Road but did not get inside. The van belongs to AM Heating and Cooling in Des Plaines.
