Dems need insider for lt. governor?
The Democrats, you know, the party of the people, would not let the voters of Illinois choose their U.S. senator. Why? Because they claimed they needed the vote for health care, and we all know how that turned out.
Two other states did not rush into filling senate vacancies. Now they will not let us vote for lieutenant governor. Is it because they want to pick one of their own insiders for a do nothing job who otherwise cannot find a real job?
Dan Hynes now says he would accept the lieutenant governor job even though he recently said he was through with elected office. I guess he figures if he is appointed, then its not an elected position. Can he not find a job that is not paid for by the taxpayers?
