Friday's Fox Valley roundup

The Hampshire girls basketball team made it a perfect 10 Friday night.

Cassie Dumoulin scored 19 points and Chrissy Heine added 17 as the Whip-Purs rolled to a 77-40 win over Marengo to complete another 10-0 Big Northern East season.

The Whip-Purs (26-1 overall) have now won 29 straight conference games.

Alex Dumoulin added 14 points for Hampshire and Karla Vietenghoff had 11.

Bartlett 73, Elgin 39: Junior Jacki Gulczynski scored 25 points and sophomore Haley Videckis added 17 as Bartlett (17-9, 7-2) won easily over the Maroons. Bartlett can wrap up second place in the Upstate Eight Conference with a win at South Elgin today. Kristin Conniff added 14 points for the Hawks, while Brandi Hernandez had 14 points to lead Elgin.

Streamwood 65, Larkin 21: Michelle Tomczak scored a career-high 24 points and pulled down 11 rebounds as the Sabres (13-16, 4-6 Upstate Eight) won for the fifth straight time. The 13 wins are the most for Streamwood since the 2002-03 season. Emma Schmidt added 15 points for Streamwood and Amanda Patterson had 8. Maggie Hoffman and Allison Smith had 5 points each to lead Larkin (0-24, 0-10).

Fenton 37, Dundee-Crown 32: Ali Sanders had 10 points to lead the Chargers (2-25) in this nonconference loss on the road. Dana Ewert added 9 points for D-C and Megan Fasanella had 8.
