What to watch: The Blue Jackets are 3-1 under interim coach Claude Noel, who took over when Ken Hitchcock was fired, but their playoff chances remain slim with six teams to jump and only 20 games remaining. Columbus is sixth in the NHL on the power play but 0-for-9 in three games against the Hawks.

Season series: Hawks lead 3-0.
