Calling on Congress to finish the job

If we want to remain as the most powerful nation in the earth, we need to reform our health care system. A new federal study shows that health care spending rose to $2.5 trillion in 2009.

If we do not reform our health system now, soon our strength we will be history - like the Soviet Union. I don't think we want that. Our politicians' goals should be to fix our problem, not how to win the election.

We are very close to passing health care reform. I stand with President Obama in calling on Congress to finish the job.
