So many 'lucky' to have health care

I work for a company that provides medical insurance as part of my benefits package. The premiums go up incrementally, but have remained at a level that I can afford.

I'm lucky. Many good people work just as hard as I do and are not lucky. Yes, luck. That's what it boils down to most of the time. If you're lucky enough to go to work for a company that offers insurance, and you're lucky enough to have that company still offering insurance, and you're lucky enough to afford the ever-increasing premiums, then you are pretty darn lucky.

Congress needs to pass meaningful health care/insurance reform so that people don't have to be lucky to avoid bankruptcy and poor health outcomes from being uninsured or underinsured. Rep. Roskam, are you listening?
