Madigan's power must be stopped

When did the people of Illinois subjugate their authority in elections to Mike Madigan? When did we make you "King of Illinois"? The electorate of Illinois duly elected Mr. Cohen on the Democratic Party ticket as the candidate for lieutenant governor. Too bad if you didn't agree with the election.

I do not agree that you should be the leader of the House in Springfield, so will you please step aside. I am a declared Democrat in the County of Cook, Hanover Twp., precinct 43, and I have never missed an election in my life, any election.

Your gravitas in taking over the will of the people is the last straw.

Mr. Madigan under your leadership, you have destroyed to monetary environment of the state of Illinois. Under your leadership and your insistence on what the budget was to contain, Illinois' debt has grown to exceed at $10 billion (that we know of). Who knows how much debt you have hiding and stashed away until after the general election.

I am beginning to see what the indicted ex governor of Illinois said is true about what you and your cronies were doing in Springfield. Governor Blagojevich had good reasons to not trust you. Is it not a convenient happenstance that the top law enforcement official in Illinois is your daughter? You planned that very well.

Do you think that anyone in Illinois believes your daughter got that spot on the ballot by virtue of hard work or experience? How can the citizens of Illinois believe in your daughter's office to investigate any Democrat skulduggery. This is nepotism at its height - thumbing your nose at the people of Illinois.

Believe me the people of Illinois, many of us registered Democrats are looking for a change in Springfield and November will bring one to you and your Democrats.
