Immaculate Conception 57, Timothy Christian 38: Up by just 1 after three quarters, the top seed Knights pulled away from their cross-town rivals to avoid an upset at the Class 2A Immaculate Conception regional. Taylor Reaber poured in a season-high 25 points for IC (27-3), which advances to play St. Edward on Thursday. Jordyn Platt and Cassidy Block each scored 10 points for Timothy Christian.

Marist 58, Hinsdale Central 51: Toni Kokenis tossed in 19 points and Adabelle Ekechukwu 18 for the Red Devils (18-9) in the final game of the Sweet Sixteen Tournament in Hinsdale. Haley Stercic scored 14 points for Marist, who trailed by 1 at the half.

Hinsdale South 49, Morton 21: Andrea McNally scored 10 points for the Hornets (13-10, 9-3 West Suburban Gold), who rolled out to a 17-4 lead after a quarter in Darien and never looked back. Angel Selmon and Jackie Belmonte each added 8 points.
