Dems should quit looking behind

With the historic vote in Massachusetts, the vote appealed to those who have been saying, "I told you so; what did you expect? He came from the Chicago/Illinois political arena."

It also answered the frustration expressed by many who had voted for Obama last year saying, "He hasn't done anything that he promised." When is the transparency going to happen, what happened to the "no earmarks," how long will he take to reach across the aisle, when will the Washington culture of corruption change, etc.? We all know politics is a sleazy business, just look at Illinois once again.

There really isn't a good choice among the leaders in both parties in this state. For someone that promised so much 'Hope and Change' in the last election, Americans have not seen much of anything, and the frustration with the ruling party of Democrats has grown. With full control in the House and Senate, nothing got done this past year. Why couldn't they have at least come up with a mini health care proposal, biting off just the very worst, and leaving alone the 85 percent of the people who liked what they had?

Blame can go only so far, after all. The Democrats should quit looking behind, and come up with solutions or step aside.
