Cary Park District hosting preschool open house

If you are interested in registering your child for preschool for the 2010-11 school year, the Cary Park District is hosting an open house from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30 at the preschool in Lions Park at 1180 Silver Lake Road. During that time, visitors can meet the teachers, receive program information and tour the classrooms.

The Cary Park District Preschool creates a positive, sensitive, and responsive environment to help children feel valued and grow with each learning experience. Through developmentally appropriate activities, the teachers foster physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth while promoting a lifetime love of learning.

Programs offered in the 2010-11 school year include morning or afternoon classes for 3- and 4-year-olds plus Junior 4- and Junior 5-year-old programs.
