Sedin twins tough for any team to handle ... and for anyone to tell apart

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - If it weren't for their uniform numbers, there would be no way to tell identical twins Henrik and Daniel Sedin of the Canucks apart.

"Sometimes you don't know who is who out there," Blackhawks winger Patrick Kane said. "They're so good at moving the puck around and have so much chemistry.

"I know the one is more a finisher, but this year it seems the other guy is scoring, too."

There you go, a perfect description of the Sedins: the one (Henrik) and the other guy (Daniel).

Henrik Sedin, who is No. 33, comes into tonight's game against the Hawks at GM Place leading the NHL in scoring with 71 points, 50 of them assists.

Daniel Sedin, No. 22, has 43 points despite missing 18 games with a broken foot.

"I know myself and (Jonathan) Toews watch them on the power play to see what kind of plays they make," Kane said. "They just play so well together."

Alex Burrows, the third member of the Sedin line, has goals in six straight games and 13 in his last nine.

"Obviously, I've never played with great linemates like I am right now," said Burrows, whom Hawks fans no doubt remember for pulling Duncan Keith's hair in a game at the United Center last season.

Hawks fans also remember defenseman Willie Mitchell for that big hit that knocked out Toews in October, but he won't play tonight because of an injury.

The Canucks will be without three of their best defensemen in Mitchell, Sami Salo and Kevin Bieksa.

"If they've got some defensemen out you want to try to take advantage of it and get an early lead," Kane said. "This is a tough place to play, the crowd gets into it and they're a real fast team, too. We want to make sure we play at our pace."
