Ramsay courts home cooks for new reality series
Grab your whisk and spatula and starting cooking. Crews from a new Fox TV reality show starring hotheaded, hot chef Gordon Ramsay will be in Naperville Sunday, Jan. 24, looking for amateur cooks to join the cast.
The show, tentatively titled "Master Chef," aims to give budding chefs, passionate foodies and hostesses with the mostest the opportunity to learn alongside celebrity chef Ramsay in professional kitchen. They'll compete with other contestants to develop dishes that are creative and innovative; the title Master Chef will be bestowed on the series winner.
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, cooks can show up at Sur La Table, 55 S. Main St., and present a dish that they've prepared to the judges. For details, see Fox.com/casting.
