Antioch theater to present Christie mystery
Warm up with a mystery by Agatha Christie this weekend in Antioch.
The Palette, Masque & Lyre Theatre, at 877 Main St., is presenting the suspenseful tale "And Then There Were None."
Set on an island, guests arriving for a weekend holiday find themselves in danger. All the characters have something to hide, so when a murder occurs, finding the culprit is difficult.
Reggie Reynolds directs while Jane Hausman manages a fine cast who spin the story of murder and intrigue. Being voted off the island is the least of the characters' worries.
The cast includes Melissa and Joe Cardamone of Kenosha, David Stironek of Spring Grove, Colin Halliday of Fox Lake, Jason Clark of Waukegan, Larry Raynor of Gurnee, Justin Fiorelli of Kenosha, Janaan Rose of McHenry, Linda Willding of Lindenhurst and Ken Albrecht of Zion.
Performances are Jan. 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 and 30 at 8 p.m. and Jan. 17, 24 and 31 at 2:30 p.m.
