Berkner's upbeat and catchy songs are built on pop melodies complex enough for adults to appreciate while still being perfectly kid-friendly. (My 3-year-old son will attest to that!) If you go to Berkner's show on Sunday, bring new children's pajamas or books; they'll be collected for the Pajama Program, which donates the materials to children in need. (Pajama sizes newborn through 2T are particularly scarce.)Info: 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, at the Genesee Theatre, 203 N. Genesee St., Waukegan. $25-$35. Call (847) 263-6300.
