Cook County Sheriff's Police are seeking the public's help in finding a missing Maine Township woman.

Sangitagen Patel, 32, was last seen between 8 and 9 a.m. Saturday near her home in the area of Ballard and Dee roads in unincorporated Maine Township, police said.

Patel was dressed in her black Subway restaurant uniform pants and a purple jacket, and seen walking toward the bus stop to go to work at the Palwaukee Plaza Subway in Wheeling. She does not own a cell phone nor drive a car, but takes the bus to get to and from work, police said.

Patel is of Asian descent, 5 feet 2, weighing 125 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. She speaks limited English.

Police said there is no history of domestic trouble between Patel and her husband nor does she have a history of leaving without contacting her husband.
