Cary residents invited to celebrate renovated Community Center

Area residents are invited to celebrate the completion of the Community Center renovation at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 10. The celebration will take place at the Community Center, 255 Briargate Road, Cary.

The renovation began in June and included renovating the three racquetball courts into program rooms, the addition of an elevator and restrooms on the lower level. The project also included the remodeling of existing spaces including the lobby, the Fitness Center, locker rooms and some original program rooms.

The Community Center now contains a dance studio, a large banquet/meeting room, three multipurpose rooms, an aerobics studio and an early childhood room. The Fitness Center received a makeover with a larger strength room, a private room for personal training, a new layout, and brand new cardio and strength training equipment.
