Luminaria made Park Blvd. sparkle

I have to say Park Boulevard in Streamwood looked great Friday night when we returned home at 11:30 and saw all the bags lined up and down the boulevard with candles. I especially appreciated it more in the morning of Saturday and Sunday still seeing those bags lining the path.

I assume since times are hard and people are getting laid off, the best thing for the village was to leave those out until Monday and not have to pay overtime for the village workers to pick them up first thing on Saturday morning. We finally get to enjoy the meaning of the lighting a little longer even though the lights have gone out. Thank you Streamwood.

Maybe we can get some flowers in the spring and summer throughout the entire boulevard between Stratford Circle and Parkside so the homes in between can enjoy them also.
