Streamwood man arrested after altercation outside restaurant
Bond was set at $40,000 Saturday for a 35-year-old Streamwood man charged with battery for an altercation that occurred outside a Streamwood restaurant and pub.
Authorities say Michael Rose, of the 700 block of Ridge in Streamwood, got into an argument with a female patron outside the restaurant in the 500 block of South Bartlett Road on Friday. When the woman's friend came to assist, Rose punched the patron in the neck, authorities said.
Prosecutors said Rose's background includes several convictions, including two for DUI and nine for driving while license revoked.
He next appears in a Rolling Meadows courtroom on Dec. 21.
