High schools should be frank about STIs

In the past few years the number of people infected by sexually transmitted infections has increased.

Streamwood High School (should) provide more information about sexually transmitted infections to students. Students can learn more ways to prevents STIs, if schools supply them with more information.

Providing students with the critical information of STIs will not stop them from becoming sexually active, but it will decrease the number of people infected yearly.

High schools are a great influence in students' lives because some students spend more time in school than in their homes. It is important that high schools inform more about the subject to their students because it will give more knowledge and understanding of how vulnerable anyone is to getting sexually transmitted infections.
