Fidelitone buys Mundelein packaging company
Wauconda-based Fidelitone Logistics, a third-party logistics provider that specializes in supply chain management, has acquired Premier Printing and Packaging, a Mundelein based company specializing in cost-effective packaging solutions.
The acquisition will increase Fidelitone's service offerings and competencies in secondary packaging, primarily targeting solutions for market leading manufacturers, according to the company.
"Fidelitone Logistics is always looking for new opportunities to present cost-savings and value-added services for our clients," said Fidelitone Logistics President Josh Johnson.
Although financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, Fidelitone and Premier's partnership is projected to generate double digit revenue growth in new verticals. Fidelitone completed two acquisitions in 2008 of WinWell Companies and Dedicated Logistics; with the results of those acquisitions enhancing Fidelitone's service offerings and national distribution network for continued growth.
All employees of Premier Printing and Packaging will be retained by Fidelitone including former owner and President, PJ Nuzzo.
Headquartered in Wauconda, Fidelitone Logistics is a $350 million third party logistics provider that specializes in supply chain management, technology solutions, warehousing, final mile delivery and reverse logistics for some of the world's leading retailers and manufacturers. Fidelitone Logistics has more than 600 employees and 20 locations worldwide.
