No injuries in Barrington High bus crash
No students were injured when a school bus departing Barrington High School about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday was struck from behind by a car at Hart Road and the railroad intersection.
The other vehicle was not traveling at a high rate of speed and simply failed to come to a complete stop in time, Barrington Unit District 220 spokesman Jeff Arnett said.
As a precaution, students were transferred to another bus and taken home while police continued the crash investigation with the original bus.
