RMHS Madrigal Dinner coming Dec. 13

Rolling Meadows High School will continue a long-honored tradition this holiday season as the Madrigal Singers, under the direction of Kimberly Stromberg, presents the elegant Madrigal Dinners on Sunday, Dec. 13 at The Wellington of Arlington, located at 2121 S. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Two seatings will be offered: one at 1 p.m. and the other at 5 p.m.

The popular event is always well attended and the deadline to reserve tickets is Friday, Dec. 4. Forms are available at the school's main office during regular school hours, or may be downloaded at http://rmhs.d214.org/activities/choral/index.htm, completed and mailed to: Madrigals Dinners c/o Kim Stromberg, Rolling Meadows High School, 2901 W. Central Rd, Rolling Meadows, IL 60008. Ticket reservations may also be made by phone and tickets may be purchased at the door. The talented Madrigal Singers, dressed in English Renaissance costumes, will sing traditional madrigals and international holiday carols in a festive setting. This year an entertaining twist will be added to the event: a mysterious murder and kidnapping in the castle will take place in the midst of the dinners. The Royal Court must solve this spellbinding whodunit!

The delicious menu features entree choices of chicken or beef. Tickets are $30 each; senior citizens and students, $26; and children under the age of 12, $18. Patrons are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes before the dinner/performance to allow time for parking, checking coats, and finding assigned tables. For more information or to purchase tickets, contact the choral office at (847) 718-5753.
