Run like Rudolph at Snowflake Shuffle

TriCity Family Services and presenting sponsor Harris Bank will present the inaugural Snowflake Shuffle 5K Run/Walk Saturday, Dec. 5 in the Mill Creek Subdivision in Geneva.

Lace up your sneakers, put on your Santa hat and run like Rudolph, or walk in a winter wonderland for TriCity Family Services.

Start and end at the Mill Creek Clubhouse and run or walk through the streets of the Mill Creek subdivision.

Bundle up. All ages, runners, walkers, strollers, teams, companies, schools and families welcome. Holiday costume and spirit are appreciated. Santa Claus will attend.

The course is USATF certified. Split times will be given at every mile.  Finish line management and timing services provided by race time. Awards will be presented to the top three males and females in each five-year age division.

The Snowflake Shuffle check in begins at 8 a.m. and the race starts at 9 a.m. Check in is at the Mill Creek Clubhouse, 39W525 Herrington Drive, Geneva.

Preregistration fees are $25 for adults, age 18 and older; $15 for children and teens, ages 6-17; and free for children, age 5 and younger. Participants will receive a goody bag and Snowflake Shuffle long-sleeve T-shirt. Day-of Registration fees are $5 more and shirts are not guaranteed. All proceeds benefit TriCity Family Services.
