Columnist is just spewing hatred
In the Nov. 17 Daily Herald, columnist Richard Cohen advises former President Bush on how to better spend his money. He suggests an ongoing investigation of Sarah Palin. However, this monograph is really a rant on Mrs. Palin's current book tour and hoards of admirers.
Did his inspiration come from a bad dream? He mentions anonymous talk of how she might run for president. Did a ghost reveal some future event? Even Oprah couldn't get that answer. If at some future date she does decide to run, is this Mr. Cohen's. first mudslinging shot of self-aggrandizement with the collectivist Democratic Party?
Cohen then tries to compare Mrs. Palin to our president's current talks with Chinese bankers. Does anyone now in this country know the content of their conversations?
He then goes on to question Sen. McCain's choice of running mate after having been given absolute proof of abominable judgment. Does he know of what went on in Sen. McCain's mind?
After pitching some insults, he accuses Mrs. Palin of being a demagogue. I can think of two Democrat women, high in government, that better fit that description. Near the end, he accuses the Palin movement of being fueled by high-octane vile.
Isn't this the pot calling the kettle black?
