Bean thanked for supporting HR 3962

On Nov. 7 the House of Representatives made huge progress for the future of this county and our society. They passed H.R. 3962, the Affordable Health Care for America Act.

This was the first time the Senate or the House has ever passed comprehensive health insurance reform. I believe that there are two reasons this was successful. First, we as citizens of this democracy have voiced our views and opinion to our representatives in Congress. Secondly, they voted accordingly. This vote was very close. It is important that we as citizens speak up to our congressional representatives. This is how we are accurately represented.

I would like to thank Congresswoman Melissa Bean for supporting this bill. She represents a very mixed district and it is honorable that she made the right decision.
