Homeowners' seminar set

Hanover Township Supervisor Brian McGuire and Assessor Thomas Smogolski will put on a homeowners' seminar at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at the township Senior Center, 240 S. Route 59, Bartlett.

The seminar will cover topics including the special 2009 reassessment notice being sent out to all residential properties in Cook County, the effect it may have on your taxes, significant changes to this real estate tax year and Cook County's 7 percent tax cap.
