One more chance to change 'no' votes

As a person who lost my insurance after being promised it by a large corporation after my husband's retirement, I know what it is like to go without health care. On Nov. 7, a bipartisan majority made history in the House of Representatives by passing HR 3962, the Affordable Health Care for America Act.

The congressmen who voted yes for this bill deserve our vote of thanks for resisting all the pressures they get from the insurance lobbyists and standing up for us. Those who did not vote for the bill have another chance to reconsider and support reform, or maybe they will not be voted back in the next time they run.

They don't realize a vote for this bill helps Americans with insurance, those who don't have any coverage. It should lower costs for families and businesses and maybe begin to reduce the deficit.
