Obama puts decency back in White House

So many letter writers are insinuating that President Obama is taking away our freedoms and establishing a dictatorship.

Do these people forget the eight years of patriot acts, military commission acts, torture of foreign and American prisoners, consolidation of news outlets, and the theft of the presidency itself? Not to mention the firing of U.S. attorneys and the Valerie Plame outing.

I for one am glad to have a new president and vice president who are not criminals.

In my opinion Barack Obama is the most decent man to hold the White House since Dwight Eisenhower. Actually I would prefer he be less decent and start to fight dirty, but I have to also respect his civility.

This country has a two-party system and the GOP does not have a Jesus given right to the presidency.

The sooner they accept this the better off our country will be.
