Reveal ties when talking up president
This is in response to Diane Niesman's letter on Oct 28. The awarding of a Nobel Peace Prize to President Obama after being in office for only nine months is clearly just a political ploy by the committee. He was nominated within two weeks of taking office, so nothing could have possibly been already accomplished by the president, good or bad.
What is more frustrating, though, is that people like Diane, a major contributor and volunteer to Obama and the Democratic Party, tries to write these letters to the editor (talking up the "empty suit" that we have as a president), without identifying herself as such.
