Holiday mystery dinner theater in Schaumburg benefits PADS

Journeys from PADS to HOPE will host the Mystery Dinner Theater fundraiser from 5-10 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Radisson Hotel, 1725 E. Algonquin Road in Schaumburg.

Proceeds will go toward providing emergency shelter, counseling, transitional housing, and job training to the area's homeless and at risk individuals and families.

Everyone will receive a character upon entrance, and then it's up to the audience to find the clues and solve the crime. Anyone could be the culprit. A raffle and silent auction will also take place with plenty of holiday gifts to choose from. Overnight rooms at the Radisson will be available for all guests to ensure they enjoy the event to the fullest.

All auction donation, registration, and sponsor forms can be found at padstohope.org or e-mail events@padstohope.org. Registrations and donations are due no later than Nov. 25. Online registration is available for all credit card purchases.

Journeys from PADS to HOPE provides supportive services to more than 800 homeless and at-risk individuals and families annually from Northwest suburban Cook County. The agency is located at 1140 East Northwest Highway in Palatine.
