Let Afghanistan figure it out

If most Americans are against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, why is it that Congress keeps voting to sustain those doomed excursions? We voted for our congressmen and senators to represent our views, but they are certainly not doing that.

Do we let them continue to send our sons and daughters into a foreign civil war that we will never win? Do we want our 800 dead to increase to 15,000 dead, like the Russians had in their 10 year Afghan folly? Bring our men and women home, and let those countries figure it out for themselves. One more American life is not worth their thankless attitude.
