Elgin

• Someone used a BB gun to shoot out the front window on a 2005 Chrysler 300 in the 500 block of Grace Street between 4 and 9:30 p.m. Sunday, reports said.

• Someone stole the CD player from a 1994 Honda Accord in the 400 block of Worth Street between 12:01 a.m. and 9:59 a.m. Sunday, reports said.

Carpentersville

• Brandon T. Johnson, 25, of the 700 block of Houston Drive, Carpentersville, has been charged with aggravated assault for pointing a revolver at another person Sunday during an argument. His bond was set at $10,000 and he is due in court Dec. 9 at the Kane County Judicial Center on the charge and on Nov. 6 at the Elgin Branch Court for a separate domestic battery case. His bond was set at $5,000 in the latter case, which involved an arrest warrant.

• Francisco Carrillo-Castro, 19, of the 1300 block of Wakefield Drive, Carpentersville, on Sunday was charged with two counts of possession of a fraudulent ID card, a Class 4 felony offense that carries up to three years in prison. Police said he had a bogus Social Security card and a phony permanent resident card. Judge Bruce W. Lester set his bond at $7,000 and gave him a Nov. 12 court date in Elgin.

Huntley

• An iPod Nano was stolen from a gym bag belonging to a male student at Huntley High School on Thursday, Oct. 29, police said.

• A plasma TV and DVD player were stolen on Sunday, Nov. 1, from a residence on the 9700 block of Compton Drive, police said.

South Elgin

• Thomas A. Urbani, 17, of the 1300 block of Ross Avenue, Carol Stream, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 4:40 p.m. Wednesday after a traffic stop at Middle and Ann street for following too closely and not having a front license plate, reports said.

• A Dell laptop computer, valued at $1,500, was reported stolen at 6:58 p.m. Oct. 20 from the 100 block of Lexington Avenue, reports said.

• Someone took a wallet, $80 and GPS device from an unlocked 2004 Honda Odyssey ion the 700 block of Lake Ridge Drive between 8 p.m. Oct. 27 and 8 a.m. Wednesday, reports said.

• Someone stole a GPS device and camera, a total value of $310, from a Dodge Ram 2500 in the 300 block of Thornwood Way between 9 p.m. Oct. 27 and 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, reports said.

• An Alpine "Black Bird" GPS, valued at $400, was stolen between 4 p.m. Oct. 27 and 11:51 a.m. Wednesday from a 1998 Ford F150 in the 200 block of Thornwood Way, reports said.

Lake in the Hills

• Police found spray paint on a stop sign and a nearby fence at 8:22 a.m. at Navajo Drive and Pyott Road.
