Fire hits vacant house in Ingleside

A fire at a vacant house on the 35000 block of Greenleaf Avenue in Ingleside caused about $10,000 damage on Friday, authorities said.
The blaze was discovered about 2 p.m. The area doesn't have hydrants, so firefighters needed a tanker truck to battle the blaze.
No one was injured.
The fire was contained to the west side of the house on the first floor and the basement, officials said.
The cause was under investigation.
