Tell the truth about Columbus
Why aren't students taught the truth about Christopher Columbus? Instead of having a day off from school for Columbus Day, children need to be in school being educated about Columbus and man he really was.
After all, it wasn't Columbus who discovered America; it was the Native American Indians who discovered America. Students need to be taught the real truth about our history.
