Get a haircut for charity

Students and staff of Empire Beauty Schools in Hanover Park, Lisle and Arlington Heights are giving $5 haircuts for charity, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24. The schools will donate 100 percent of all local National Day of Beauty proceeds raised from hair, skin and nail services to Family Shelter Services in Hanover Park and the WINGS Shelter in Palatine.
