Legislators' health care isn't the issue
The liberals will go to any level to incite and misinform on the issue of health care. A recent letter submitted by Scott Johnson illustrates this. Before I start, let me spell out one fact that the liberals like to overlook: U.S. Rep. Peter Roskam is against socialized health care, commonly referred to as Obamacare.
The fact that Mr. Roskam has a government plan is not relevant. Medicare, Medicaid and Veterans Affairs are not the issue. The issue is whether or not we want to turn our health care system over to the federal government. If we want government employees to decide what level of care we get, what medications we are given or which specialists we can see.
As a matter of fact, many people are calling for the legislators to be forced to use Obamacare if they pass it into law. I think this might be what is scaring them into voting against it. Calling Mr. Roskam a hypocrite for standing up against a badly conceived health care plan is silly. Relating the health care plan that government employees have to Obamacare is ridiculous.
