This is about truth, not fear and hatred

I listen frequently to Limbaugh and Beck (and most of the other Fox shows) and have yet to hear anything that should "stir up fear and hatred."

Concern, yes, with what is happening to our country. under the Obama administration, as Fox points out. One has only to consider the people he is putting in high level positions to become fearful - Ezekiel Emanuel with his outlandish writings about how to ration health care, Cass Sunstein, with his assertion that animals should be afforded human lawyers, Van Jones, etc. Not to mention all the others who have had IRS complications. In short, tax evaders and extreme left-wingers willing to violate our constitution in order to bring about the changes they espouse.

As to Laura Fox's assertions that the GOP has paid people to attend town hall meetings - I don't for a moment believe that this has happened. (That an organization like ACORN might do this, yes). I point to the Sept. 12 march in Washington where several hundred thousand people, me included, very peacefully took part in a protest march.

The reports I have heard indicated no arrests, and very little trash to clean up. Points to the type of people who were there.

I can only laugh at her statement that Democrats are "more polite and stick to the truth and to the facts".

As for her castigation of Mr. Thomas' for his comments regarding the health care plans that the Democrats are pushing, I hope that Ms. Fox will, five years from now, be able to say "all is well." But, I doubt it.

I look forward to the 2010 congressional elections.
