Cary Park Disctrict workshop teaches family safety

The Cary Park District will offer a free personal safety workshop to park district residents from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Community Center, 255 Briargate Road. Awareness, prevention, and safety tips will be discussed in a fun and interactive workshop that uses role playing. Participants learn basic blocks and anti-child abduction tactics to escape dangerous situations.

This workshop is for people age 7 and older and is an ideal opportunity for the family to learn together. Space is limited. Register at the Cary Park District Community Center.
