Outlook A rivalry dating to 1929 which Barrington leads 38-18-1 has it looking to continue its drive for five wins and a playoff berth with Palatine looking to officially wrap up its third straight trip. The Broncos come in off the best throwing day for dual-threat QB Terrance Terry, which also helps free up RB Chase Murdock. "The kids, because of the name Barrington, you don't have to tell them anything about their record," said Palatine coach Tyler Donnelly. "It will definitely be a big challenge for us." Donnelly said junior Jim Smearman will get his second straight start at QB but Cody Bobbit could play in certain situations if needed in his return from a slightly separated shoulder. But Barrington, which got LB Alex Jirschele back from injury last week, is making plans to face Bobbit at some point and also contain the run game led by Joe Pelnar. "They're more balanced this year and that makes it a little more difficult to game plan," said Barrington coach Joe Sanchez. "We'll prepare for (Bobbit) to be there and we have to minimize the number of explosive plays they get."
