Language shows bias in ACORN article
I read the Sept. 16th article regarding Dick Durbin and Roland Burris' defenses of their votes not to ban federal funding to ACORN. The article described ACORN as an anti-poverty organization, perhaps to differentiate it from pro-poverty organizations or, more likely, to present it as a positive light and to mitigate the "beating" which ACORN has taken based on the videotapes taken by a "duo of conservative activists."
