Get back to work, you Democrats

I'm disappointed we didn't get the 2016 Summer Olympics. But my greatest disappointment is with the Democratic Party.

You mean to tell me that with the full power of the Daley machine, Michelle and Barack Obama and even Oprah thrown in for additional weight, you guys couldn't land a small deal like the 2016 Olympics? I think complacency has set in to your party.

I guess you were thinking that since you control Illinois and the whole country for that matter, why would an insignificant Olympic committee be a problem? And where was ACORN? And from the ballot I saw in the paper it looked like only living people voted. Even though we got bumped off in the first round, why didn't you demand a recount?

You know when there is a recount (like the one for Al Franken), all the questionable or undesirable votes would have mysteriously gone to the U.S. And I can't believe you couldn't have found a few uncounted votes in the trunk of a Fiat somewhere in Denmark. Come on, you guys. Get with it.

So now what? You can learn from these complacent mistakes in upcoming elections. Now you Dems, get back to your normal work: ramming through unread socialistic government programs, pillaging the earnings of present and future U.S. citizens and destroying businesses everywhere in the name of environmental health. Welcome home.
