We need a victory in Afghanistan
Casualties are rising in Afghanistan and the commander in chief has changed the rules of engagement. I fear he has emboldened the enemy. Reading Miranda rights to prisoners is not helping our cause.
Playing nice with al-Qaida and the Taliban is not going to get them to like us. If President Obama won't let our troops fight for victory he's only sending troops there with bull's-eyes on their backs.
Failure in Afghanistan is not an option, but the president seems to be headed in the direction of another Vietnam. President Obama, I call on you to take the handcuffs off our armed forces and bring our troops home in victory. Any other scenario is just a recipe for defeat.
