U.S. auto business has got it all wrong
Now, GM is going to build more cars. Do we really need more? There have been cars going begging on car lots for a while now due to the economy.
And, the government is pushing electric cars. Why? That calls for plug-in outlets.
The widespread need for electricity this will demand can only cause more problems for the nationwide "grid" which we have heard (for years) is in dire need of rebuilding in a more efficient configuration.
The career politicians depend on big business to keep them in Washington.
Should they have been bailed out of a mess of their own making? I think not. No one is too big to fail.
They've screwed over the American citizens by outsourcing jobs overseas so they could add to their net profits. Why isn't the government doing something to return jobs (other than low-paying service jobs) to the people being sent into bankruptcy? Also, why is the government allowing the unions to hold the nation hostage? It seems the unions do not feel they should make any concessions that might result in more jobs and lower prices.
