Go batty over bats at Fox River Grove library program

Fox River Grove Memorial Library, 407 Lincoln Ave., offers a variety of programs and events. For information, visit frgml.lib.il.us or call (847) 639-2274. Registration is required unless otherwise noted.

The library has announced that the hours of operation have expanded to 9 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday. The library is closed Sundays.

Bat program: Kids, age 7 to 10, can learn about bats from Mary Kozub of the McHenry County Conservation District at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23. Learn more about our bat neighbors and how they help out. Participants must be between the ages of 7 and 10.

Fall Storytimes: Registration is now open for Fall Story Times. In order to help young children stay focused during storytime, the doors to the meeting room will be closed within five minutes of the start time to each session.

• Wee Ones, up to 23 months, with a parent, at 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays, Sept, 29-Nov. 3.

• Tiny Tots, ages 2-3, with a parent, at 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays, Sept. 30-Nov. 4.

• Ready to Read, ages 4-5, without a parent, at 10:30 a.m. Thursdays, Oct. 1-Nov. 5.

• TAB Story Time, all ages, with a parent, at 6:30 p.m. Mondays, Oct. 12 and Nov. 16.
