Paying lip service to the radical right?

Congratulations to Wheaton Warrenville Unit District 200 on its wrongheaded decision to ban President Obama's speech. All wise parents know that the easiest way to get information to young people is to deny them access.

It's the "overhear" psychology: We all pay more attention to what we're not supposed to be hearing than what's said in our presence. Gosh, I guess our present school administrators haven't taken Psych 101 - or maybe they have and are just paying lip service to the radical right.
