BP propane traders cleared of market cornering
Four men who worked for a U.S.- based unit of BP Plc won dismissal of federal criminal charges that they tried to corner the market for propane gas and manipulate prices in 2004.
A Houston federal judge threw out the case yesterday, ruling in part that the Commodities Exchange Act provisions the men were accused of violating were too vague to be enforceable.
